While shopping online for all of the computer equipment we will need to replace everything we lost in the fire, I found used iseries servers that were exactly like we used to have. I really liked them, and knew that my computer tech guys would appreciate us putting similar stuff back into the office that they were already acquainted with.

We ordered three used iseries servers from a company that gets them and then refurbishes them before reselling them. It seemed like a company that really knew what they were doing and I could not find anyone else that beat the prices I found through them.

I then found used ibm computers that were the same make and model that most of our employees had on their desks. I also knew that coming back to a newly built office would be great if they could just sit down and start working on the used ibm computers like they had before.

The fact that most of them had promised to come back, made it that much more important that I try and make the transition of coming back easy on them. We should have the used iseries servers and the used ibm computers in time for our grand reopening that is scheduled for sometime early next month.
