For almost a year now I have been saving up so that I could finally have the kitchen i have always fantasized about. I got the image which was featured in a famous magazine two years ago and I have been carrying it in my purse ever since. I went to this contractor and he gave me the amount I needed to get the kitchen. So now, you have the picture - it’s been a while and another year to go - i’ll get what I want.

I was checking a website about good living and model homes when I saw this site about a remodel kitchen business two brothers from Tampa, Florida were handling. Their names were very familiar, I thought. I know I’ve met them before.

I called their office and scheduled for a meeting. It was located in N Dale Mabry. No wonder I know them! My uncle used to work at this restaurant near their office. I introduced myself and in minutes, we warmed up.

I showed them my dream kitchen. Without hesitation, they made a quote on how much everything would cost me - from the expensive materials point of view and medium-priced raw products setting. To my amazement,  the kitchen remodeling budget I have was more than enough! I never blinked and hired them in an instant. My instincts were right.

It has been my lifelong dream to own a restaurant. I love eating. I don’t mind paying a high price for a good meal and I also like eating good food for a cheap price. The best thing about this situation is that I can eat good, palatable and delicious foods. Going back to the idea of me owning a restaurant, just two weeks ago, I got this property in a very strategic area downtown and of course, I wanted it to be a nice restaurant. One thing that is good about this property is the huge space for the kitchen area. I just needed a dependable Raleigh kitchen remodeling company to do this task.

I went online one day and saw this very nice company. Their genuine suggestions online are good for their customers. These talks of good services are straight from horses’ mouth. So they came to my rescue actually since I was tight on schedule at that and they were the only ones who provided me with a better picture of what can they do as a remodeling Raleigh company. Truly, they delivered their goods well. It’s not just a good online presentation but the actually and physical work done is even more impressive. My new restaurant’s kitchen as well the whole area of the restaurant was good as new.

As a photographer for fashion shoots and magazines, I can say that I am a very busy person and being new at my home, I was not able to personalize. And I hate it! I hate my point blank wall which is VERY boring for an artist like me. Due to my frustration, I tweet everyone that I know to help me find a paint company. Almost everyone had a name to mention but when I called them, they are very expensive. Until my actress friend from Raleigh, NC came to tell me to try this paint store Raleigh in NC. I searched their site and found out that they are one of the leading companies in NC. I talked to one of their specialist and agreed for a FREE on-site consultation. When I met her, she has full of ideas, a trait of her that I liked the most.

She also suggested that I try the ceramic floors Cary showroom displayed which they say would complement my art room. I was very pleased with her!!! The outcome of her work surpassed everything I expected!!! It looks like the entire room was repainted. And my floors look absolutely gorgeous. I was very pleased with the effect of it in my house. It matches my walls, my décor and even my curtains. I loved it! Thanks to her, I am now getting my ideas in my colored-room.

The list of things that are needed to make our bathrooms up to the approval of our chain is so long. They want us to install at least two new waterless urinals and each of the restrooms needs to have new hand dryers too. I think that these must be because they are going green and these are two things that will be big steps in doing that.

I called up our plumbing fixtures guy and he gave me some prices for the waterless urinals and the hand dryers over the phone. Those prices did not include the installation fees, so I am not sure if I will be able to do these things very soon or not. If anything, I will just have the hand dryers installed this month and then wait till next month for the urinals.

My last job was for a company that sold items like wrought iron doors and iron gates. I worked there for ten years, before leaving. I was let go due to the low sales that were a direct result of the current economic times. I had seen hundreds of our past clients lose their homes and many more that I did not know. I was very sad to lose my job, but I understood it.

I had been named the top salesman of that company for three years in a row, when the times were good. In one month, I could usually sell fifty wrought iron doors and around thirty sets of iron gates. There were only two other salespeople at the store that occasionally would outsell me, and they were the owners. Every other salesperson that worked for the company would try and figure out how I did it, but they never did.

My big advantage to making all of those iron gates and wrought iron doors sales, was just because I knew the products, the inventory and the prices like the back of my hand. It did not hurt that I was just a fabulous people person too. I think that I was just born to be a salesman, some people have it and some do not.

The interior painters finished the job of painting the entire house, two days ahead of schedule. This would mean that the carpet layers would be able to complete their work early too. I was so happy with the way that the interior painting company got done so quickly, that I gave each of them a fifty dollar tip.

They all thanked me and then cleaned up their materials and were on their way. I am thinking that the interior painters may have told the carpet company what I did, because they have been running around there like crazy trying to get this job done. I just wish that they knew that there is no way I can afford to give them all a tip too.

What no one seems to remember, is that when I hired the interior painting company, I told the gentleman who did the estimate, that if they could finish ahead of schedule that I would pay them extra. I guess that no one took me seriously and therefore, I did not have to hold up my end of the bargain. I would never have done that though because I never go back on my word. A promise is a promise.

My boss was telling the whole office a funny story about the time he worked for a window company. He was seventeen and his parents told him that he needed to get a summer job to help pay for his car and the insurance. He had no experience at anything, but knew his buddy’s father owned a window company and figured that he could get a job there easily.

He was right, getting the job was easy but keeping it turned out to be pretty tough. The first day on the job he was told to load the twenty vinyl garden windows into the back of a truck and take them over to the local humane society building. He loaded up what he thought were the vinyl garden windows and drove them over to where they were supposed to go.

The lady who ran the humane society thanked him for dropping off the vinyl garden windows that were going to be sold at a fundraising auction later in the week. When he got back from delivering the windows, he found out that he had delivered the wrong ones.

What he took as vinyl garden windows were actually twenty thousand dollars worth of stained glass windows that were to go into the most historic home in the county. He was fired after he went and brought them back.

My husband and I are thinking of starting up a home remodeling company in our town. I would take care of all the secretary type stuff and he would handle all the estimates and jobs. We would probably need to hire about ten guys who have knowledge in many different fields. We want our home remodeling company to be able to offer roofing, siding, plumbing and electrical. Of course if they have ever done any type of construction then we will be happy to give them a chance.

My husband got his first real job in remodeling when his dad let him come to work with him when he was about seventeen years old. His father worked for a Denver siding company that had been around for years. My husband said that he will never forget that day; he just wanted to learn about everything.

The Denver siding company also gave him a job when he graduated from high school and he moved on from there to doing inside home remodeling. He is very proud to say that he can wear many hats when he starts this home remodeling company. I hope that it grows to be a very successful business.

While surfing the web one day, I came across an idea for my next home project. I was going to have one of those Minnesota composite decks put on. I had always liked the look of natural wood but I thought that since in Minnesota we have so much snow, it would be better to go with the Minnesota composite decks instead of natural wood. It gave you the same kind of look but they are supposed to be maintenance free.

I called to get three different estimates because that is what my father always told me to do, if you need to get something done then get three estimates and go with the one in the middle. The one in the middle was supposedly the one that was just right. All three of the Minnesota remodeling contractors that I called came out on the same day and I was able to make my decision very quickly.

The first of the Minnesota remodeling contractors was late and priced way too high, the second was priced very low and could not answer all of my questions. The third contractor answered all of my questions and his price was in between the other two.

My boss was having me do all the research on companies that he was thinking of hiring to do some home renovations. His wife really wanted some new bathroom cabinets and I was supposed to look up Pinellas County FL bathroom cabinets and find the best company to do the job. My boss’s wife loves to go to the showrooms and look at everything.

I gave my boss the list and explained to him how I came up with them. He was thrilled with it and told me that his wife would make sure that I got something special for it.
