My friend is leaving. She’s going to study abroad. She got this really cool scholarship from a school in Europe. Since we won’t be seeing him for a long time, our friends wanted to give him a send-off cum farewell party. It was a big task because our friend always catches a surprise. He is very keen and very observant about surprises. The task of hiding the surprise party from him is like erasing an obvious stain on t shirts.

Each of us was given a committee to handle. And I was assigned in farewell gift department. It would be exciting to give something not usual. Something that he cannot find easily but is very common to him. What could be a perfect farewell gift for a good friend who’s going to the other side of the world? Then I thought I have never given clothes. It would really nice to give him a playful t shirt.

They whined until I finally gave in to let them wear at least the new socks before I had a chance to put them through the laundry.

I remember wearing footed pajamas when I was little and they were so comfortable. I think that I would rather enjoy them even now that I am older and have a hard time keeping warm when I first get into bed. I think that it is the cold winters that we seem to have. The cold did not bother me as much when I was younger but it sure does now.

The food service supplies company that we found online had some great prices. We had been ordering our cups and lids from one supplier and our plates and napkins from another. We were saving somewhere between a hundred dollars a month by using separate providers but we were looking for a company that could put everything in one with affordable prices.

I was the one who just happened to come across a company on the internet that sold food service supplies and cleaning supplies too. The prices for the cups, lids, plates and napkins were all lower than our other two suppliers and the fact that we could get our cleaning supplies there too was a big bonus.

I took all of the information regarding the food service/cleaning supplies company to my boss the next day and let him look it over. He gave us the green light to go ahead and use this company and now instead of ordering from three companies, we just use one and save money at the same time. The money that is being saved on having just one company is being used to update some of our computers. I think that a few of the computers were actually from the time the internet was invented.

I was offered a job working for a discount office supplies company last month and turned it down. I figured that my job with the discount office furniture store was pretty secure. If I had known that I was going to lose my job then I think that I would have at least considered it instead of telling the owner of the discount office supplies company that I was not interested. I wonder if he might have known something that I did not.

I figured that it was worth a shot to see if by chance the job was still available but I knew that it was a long shot. When I called, the girl that answered the phone told me that the owner was going to be out of the office for the rest of the day and to try back in the morning.

I called the following morning and explained to him that I was the girl from the discount office furniture store that he had offered a job to last month and that I needed to find out if there was any way that I could accept the position now. He laughed and told me that he would be happy to have me work for him especially since he had just bought out the discount office furniture store and needed help adding the entire inventory to his store.

While shopping online and looking for something for my brother in law, I came across some websites that sold funny t shirts. I started checking them all out, and next thing you know, I had been shopping for about three hours.
